CIVIL JURY AMOUNT

Provides that the right to a jury trial in civil proceedings preserved by Article 23 of the Declaration of Rights applies only when the amount in controversy exceeds $10,000.

Question 2

RETIRED JUDGES - ASSIGNMENT

Authorizes retired judges of the Circuit Court of Harford County and the Circuit Court of Montgomery County to be assigned, subject to approval by the Court of Appeals, to do an act that a judge of the Orphans' Court of Harford County or the Orphans' Court of Montgomery County may perform.
